The Studio

Mom hard at work in her studio. This was the scene nearly every day up until her time of death. A king sized bed covered with pastels, dust and art was the norm. This is the first post I am uploading to this blog while building the site. It’s December 17th and I just figured out how to link up Fotomoto with this WordPress site. My son came up with the site name “Starlit Fields” which is also the name of the first painting that we will be offering on this site.

Phyllis Morris passed away at the age of 76 on October 21st, 2020. At the end of her life she had early onset dementia, Stage 4 cancer in her spine and also in her brain. During her last months she began painting with pastels daily. This art is now for sale with the proceeds going to her favorite group, the Christian Community, which is based on the work of Rudolf Steiner and Anthroposophy.
